This is a short tour offering you cycling along Danube using well known Danube cycle path
in the beginning, then various cycle lanes and paths in Vienna.
The tour is organized for Czech cyclists coming from Prague to Austria by bus. In Vienna
we stay in the campingsite on New Danube, near the centre of the city. This is a good
starting point to daily trips.
The bus goes from Prague on Friday 3rd July in the morning. Afternoon we arrive to Austria
and start the cycling part, while the bus moves empty to the campsite.
The next days we cycle with a guide around / through the city - every day in different
direction. You discover the monuments and important buildings the old centre,
modern UNo city, exciting architecture of Hundertwasser, Donauinsel - the long island
used as a recreation zone recre, original Prater, old Czech Prater on a hill above the city,
etc.
There is a chance to enjoy swimming in the river the same way as many citizens do.
Accomodation is simple - in the campingsite in tents. Of course, you can ask for penzion or hotel.
